Our tried and tested substrate recipe is capable of achieving fruiting bodies from this difficult to grow species. It is completely possible to grow your own Cordyceps fruiting bodies of this species at home. Full instructions are provided in the included leaflet.
 
We work hard in our lab to produce proven fruiting strains of Cordyceps M. The fruit of this facinating fungus will form 30–60 mm high, club-shaped and orange red fruit bodies. The original specimen for this 2021 strain is from a mushroom found in North Wales in late 2020.
 
Many substrate combinations were tested, different ratios of nutrients and base materials were tried prior to selecting the final formula, super8. This kit contains 40g of super8 substrate and everything else you need to get growing and offers you a fun and exciting chance to grow your very own Cordyceps Militaris fruit bodies at home.
 
All the pictures here are of our own Cordyceps grown from the same strain that you will receive. (PrHaM0520), and they are grown on exactly the same substrate contained within your grow kit.
