This popular mushroom substrate can be used for any wood loving mushroom species. We have seen amazing yields growing king oyster, Grey Oyster, Lions Mane, enoki and shiitake strains, all of which are available as liquid cultures from us. The wood in our substrate is 100% hardwood and contains only oak!
 
This product is sealed in filter patch mushroom bag and can be stored in the fridge for up to 14 days. For best results, use as soon as possible.
 
Each substrate block is sealed and then sterilised in a computer controlled, purpose built steriliser. all at at minimum of 15psi / 121ºC for 120 minutes.
 
Our substrate is prepared in a clean room where the filtration is rated at HEPA H13 (> 99.95% MPPS, > 99.97% 0.3µm).
 
For the best chance of achieving contamination free results, observe sterile technique and use a flow hood or at the very minimum, a homemade glove box.
