All-In-One grow kit instructions
Thanks for choosing us for your mushroom growing experience. You're about to find out just how easy it is to grow some very excellent mushrooms.

Before you start
Inspect Your Grow Bag
Carefully examine the gussets and seals for any punctures or air leaks, which may result from rough handling during delivery.

Prepare a Clean Environment
Close windows and limit airflow in your workspace. Although not strictly required, using a still air box is highly recommended. Disinfect all surfaces thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol.

Personal Hygiene
Take a shower or bath and change into clean clothes to reduce the risk of contamination.
Inoculation
Step 1: Gloves on and Sanitize
Put on the supplied gloves and wipe them down using plenty of iso.

Step 2: Clean the Injection Port
Disinfect the syringe and the grey injection port on the grow bag with more iso

Step 3: Prepare the Syringe
Carefully remove the syringe cap and attach a new sterile needle, ensuring you do not touch or contaminate the needle.

Step 4: Inoculate
Inject 3ml of liquid culture or a well-shaken, tried and tested spore solution (preferably checked for contamination on agar) into the injection port.
Incubation
Step 5: Create Ideal Conditions
Place the bag in a dark, warm location between 20–25°C Avoid direct heat sources which can damage the mycelium or dry out the substrate.

Step 6: Initial Growth Stage
Within 10–14 days the mycelium should begin to form around the injection site. Spores wil likely require an additional week to germinate.
Break & Shake
Step 7: Create Space
Hold the bag just above the filter for 1–2 minutes to draw in fresh air, giving the substrate room to move.

Step 8: Mix Thoroughly
Gently break up and massage the colonized substrate being very careful not to damage the bag. Shake to evenly distribute mycelium throughout the substrate.

Step 9: Resume Incubation
Return the bag to the same conditions as before. Full colonization (when the bag is turning completely white with mycelium growth) should occur within 7 days.
Fruiting
Side fruiting - Oysters, Lion's Mane etc:
Step 10: Cut the Bag
Using a clean, sharp knife, make a small X-shaped cut (approximately 1cm deep) into the substrate on the side of the bag.

Step 11: Fruiting Conditions
Move the bag to a location with indirect light and lower temperatures 15–20°C

Step 12: Misting
Lightly mist the bag each day with clean water until mushroom pins begin to form.
Top Fruiting - Therapeutic Dung Loving Fungi, King Oyster etc:
